During COVID lockdown, Sydney-based mum & dad design team, Olivia and Patrick Rudomino, drew on inspiration - and practical play ideas - from their three, active, busy children to launch the My NooK range in September, 2020. If you’ve been following me over the last few weeks you would have seen the newest addition to our playroom - the NooK! I have been wanting a modular play couch for years and there is finally an incredible option for Aussie families 🙌🏻 it is Australian made and owned and I have been blown away by the design and the quality of this awesome couch 😍
The girls have (literally) not stopped playing on it since it arrived. It is lightweight so they can move and configure it on their own, and they create cubbies, games and their own little playspaces with it every day 🙌🏻 My personal favourite thing about it is how easy it is for me to pack it away at the end of the day - just throw the cushions back into couch formation and the playroom is instantly tidy again 😂🙌🏻 I’m also loving experimenting with different modular set ups as a couch! Miss 18 months climbs, jumps and crawls all over it so it really gives her an awesome gross motor workout (SO handy for rainy days 🙌🏻)

Our @ilovemynook has arrived!
I can tell you this will be a massive hit in our household based on 2 observations:
1. The nook was more interesting than the huge boxes it came in. While often the boxes win 😅.
2. Benji didn't want to go downstairs to watch Bluey, which usually is his go to after daycare while we prep dinner.
Says enough right?!
So far it's been a car, an obstacle course and a 'cubbery house'. I can't wait to see all the different things we can do with it!

From cubby houses to ‘the floor is lava’, wet weather days can be a bit gloomy so small changes make a difference. We turned our @ilovemynook play sofa into cubby houses! I love seeing Mr 19m get involved in pretend play with his older brothers - imaginative play is something the three of them do together.
As the day progressed, the boys started climbing over their cubbies… It started falling apart and soon became a game of the floor is lava. So much laughing, jumping, sliding, rolling. The best fun! But I was secretly glad to have the sofa back to lounge on afterwards 😅

Here are just a few of the ways my kids have been loving our NooK - it honestly gets used every single day in so many ways and we couldn’t love it more!! @ilovemynook- the cutest little rough and tumble set up ❤️
We had planned to give Shep this set for his birthday but because he was so sick, we waited a bit before properly setting it up. And wow, was it a hit with the kids! One of the best things that's been added to our playroom has been this super comfy play sofa from @ilovemynook. Lounging on the NooK with a book is where you will find Elijah for good chunks of the day! (if he's not building and climbing it!)
We were recently sent the new Arch Roller extension pack for expanding play opportunities and I just love that the arched piece creates a cute little chaise 😍👌
